Why EuraAudit UK?
EuraAuditUK has regularly audited ACCA approved Employer Status and Trainee Development Silver Status in recognition of the support we provide to our trainees working toward the ACCA practicing certificate and the ACCA professional scheme qualification. The difference between us and large national and international firms is that we are involved in a personal way with our trainees, members of staff, and clients. We aim for the highest standards of integrity, ability and efficiency.
Training with us while Studying for Qualifications
If you’ve just finished your GCSE’s and would like to start a career in Accountancy, you would qualify to train with us to study for the AAT – Association of Accounting Technicians qualification.
If you are already a graduate, preferably with a 2:1 degree and/or prior work experience, you qualify to train with us to pursue ACCA or ICAEW qualifications. If you have a graduate degree, you might prefer to go down the ICAEW route but you can get advice depending on your personal situation from Susan Metcalfe, our training manager.
If you train with us we expect you to study for your qualifications at the same time and we offer financial support and study leave to help.
Students of our firm have consistently secured higher exam results than the national average. We appreciate proactive students who accept responsibility to seek out and look for knowledge which you can gain from your work experience, study courses, in-house courses and exchanges.
Where will I be based?
You may apply to train at any one of our offices. Find an office near you now.
Scope for Career Advancement
You’ll have opportunities to advance your career with the firm on qualification. As it’s our intention to continue to expand in Yorkshire and we’re constantly reviewing opportunities to open new offices. After you qualify we do not put any barriers in the way of progression to full partnership. We always insist upon continuing professional development after qualification.
Being a part of our Team
Security and confidentiality are paramount. Not only do we not speak of clients' affairs outside the office but we do not disclose to anyone the names of our clients. We like to take on staff who demonstrate a commitment to the fields of Accountancy and Taxation, a commitment to the firms Brand Values, a willingness to work hard, an honest, loyal and pleasant disposition, and an ability and willingness to contribute to the team.
Our Clients
Our clients cover the full range of business from sole traders to limited companies. They represent many industries and have turnovers from a few thousand pounds upto twenty million pounds. In geographical terms we provide services across North Yorkshire.
Earning Potential
Salary is in keeping with market trends and reviewed annually. We do not set artificial limits here. Your potential is completely dependent on your ability to earn the charge-out rate. This is done by consistently producing efficient work for clients. Each individual student is treated differently depending upon your ability and commitment, and each contract is negotiated separately.
The Training
Our students can generally prepare accounts within a few weeks and can prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for smaller clients entirely on their own by then. These are then reviewed by senior staff. Client contact is substantial after the initial stages and depending on the complexity of the work, you may visit the client on your own or be accompanied by a partner.
Work will gradually increase in complexity and by the third year you’ll be doing complex accounts analysis and other taxation work. You’ll also be encouraged to develop specialisims of interest to you, in various technical or industry areas.
